Re-Opening Monday 6th July

COVID-19

Following recent changes to government guidance, from Monday 15th June we are able to open our doors again to customers. However, we have decided to open the practice to customers from Monday 6th July, allowing us ample time to implement changes, and to train the staff both with our new computer system and changes associated with the current pandemic. The practice will be open for all Private and NHS consultations, and priority appointments will initially be for patients with urgent concerns and problems.

Pre- COVID-19 We only booked customers in for eye tests and it was always possible to call in anytime about anything else (including collections, repairs, queries etc). But given the current situation we now book time slots for anyone wanting to attend. With minimal staff, only limited customers in at any given time, we hope to keep any risk to an absolute minimum.

We are following very strict General Optical Council guidelines on managing COVID-19 risk and have put all additional measures in place to ensure the safety of everybody. Please do not book an appointment if you are unwell with COVID-19 symptoms – we will be happy to book you an appointment when you are feeling better.
