The contact lens assessment
This involves a discussion with the contact lens practitioner of your visual needs and gathering information to ascertain the best type of contact lenses for your requirements.
Contact lenses can then be put into your eyes to determine your vision. Any modifications to the vision and the fitting of the lenses can be made at this stage.
You will then have a comprehensive tutorial on how you insert and remove the contact lenses from your eyes, along with information regarding the handling, cleaning and looking after your lenses.
A further check is made one to two weeks after to finalise fitting and discuss your experience wearing contact lenses.
The contact lens aftercare
Contact lens aftercare examinations are essential to maintain the ongoing comfort and optimum vision with your contact lenses. It gives you the opportunity to discuss any concerns or changes with your lens wear as well as allowing the contact lens practitioner to assess the health of the eyes and check your vision.
